Overview
Technician display colors, set from the Setup → Team section, are reflected throughout the Calendar and Map views. Each technician's name, avatar, and assigned jobs are shown in their designated color, helping you quickly identify who is scheduled where and optimize your team's daily routes.
How Colors Appear in the Calendar
- Each technician listed on the left-hand side of the Calendar view is displayed using their assigned color.
- Jobs scheduled for that technician are shown as color-coded blocks, making it easy to visually separate workloads across your team.
- In Map view, technician markers and job pins on the map reflect the same assigned colors for consistent visual identification.
Reassigning a Technician's Color from the Calendar
You can update a technician's display color directly from the Calendar without navigating back to Setup:
1. Navigate to Jobs → Calendar.
2. Locate the technician in the left-hand technician list.
3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) icon to the right of the technician's name.
4. Select Edit assigned color from the dropdown menu.
5. Use the color picker to select a new color.
6. Save the change.
The updated color will immediately reflect across the Calendar, Map, and the technician's profile in Setup → Team.
Tips for Using Colors Effectively
- Assign colors that contrast well to make the Calendar easy to read at a glance.
- Use consistent color logic — for example, grouping technicians by region or skill set using similar color families.
- The Map view particularly benefits from distinct colors when multiple technicians are working in overlapping areas.
