Your day at-a-glance
Open the app and the Route screen shows your day as an ordered list: Your route stops are in driving order with any one-off jobs for the day shown alongside. Each stop shows the pool, the customer, and the work that needs to be done. Work from top to bottom, and the office sees your progress real-time as you go.
How to spot a route stop
Route stops display a truck icon next to the job name. If no truck icon displays, then it’s a regular job. The same truck icon marks route stops everywhere they appear: The Jobs list, the calendar, and on the Route Dashboard — one glance shows you which job is which.
Working a stop
Open a stop to see its details, the tasks to do, water testing, photos and notes. Check off tasks as you complete them.
A task marked Required, or a task with a Photo requirement (at least one photo), must be completed before you can finish the visit. NOTE: You can use the camera icon on the task row to add photos to any task, even when they are not required.
If a required step is not completed or is missing when you try to finish the task, the app highlights exactly what’s missing so you can fix it and move on.
These requirements and how often each task is due are set by your office on the job template. See Task and photo requirements, set what must be done at each visit.
When a visit can’t or won’t be made
Not every visit goes to plan so trackr iO allows you to set one of these outcomes:
Skip: You are not doing this visit today. Choose a reason: No access, Weather, Customer request, Equipment failure, or Other (for Other, add a short note).
No access: You arrived but could not reach the pool. Choose a reason: Locked, Dog, Construction, or Other with a note.
Defer: Move the visit to tomorrow. This keeps the visit its normal Open status on the new day and carries a small marker that shows the visit was deferred and from which date.
After you set an outcome, the app returns you to your list so you can head to the next stop. If you reopen a visit instead you can stay on its screen to keep working.
Reading the statuses
(Tap the visit marker to see the reason and the note if one was added, who set it and when.)
Skipped displays an amber color.
No access displays red.
Deferred displays blue with its Open status, the marker showing it was deferred.
Completed show as complete.
Plain Open visits don’t display a marker.
You can filter your Jobs list by these statuses including Skipped and No access.
Quick actions with a swipe
Swipe left on a route stop to reveal quick actions that allow you to Reassign, Reschedule, and Delete route stops.
The actions displayed depend on the permissions your admin has given you. One-off jobs have their own equivalent actions: Reassign, Reschedule, and Delete.
For supervisors — the Route Dashboard is in your pocket
If you manage other technicians, the main menu gives you a Route Dashboard inside the trackr iO app. Pick a day to see every technician scheduled, their progress, and tap any of them to open their stop list. Route stops displayed here carry the same truck icon, so routed visits and regular jobs stay distinguishable in every list.
Your own Route screen always shows your own day.
The team view for all technicians lives on the Route Dashboard.
