This article outlines how quotes can be approved or rejected—either directly by the customer via email or manually by your team through the Open Quotes section. Follow the steps below to manage quote decisions efficiently and accurately.
Quote approval/Rejection through email
The email the customer receives will allow them to review the quote. Click on the 'Review quote' button.
A new tab will open where the contact can choose to approve or reject the quote.
If the quote is approved, they would have to enter their name and signature. Once done, click on the 'Approve'. This will send a notification to the organization's contact email.
If the quote is rejected, the contact has to enter a reason and click on the 'Reject' button.
The organization will receive a notification whether the quote has been approved or rejected. The rejected quote will then be moved to the Archived quotes section, where you can also view the reason for rejection.
Approve or reject a quote through the trackr iO User Interface
Organizations can approve or reject a quote straight from their trackr iO account. To do this, navigate to Operations → Quotes → Open Quotes. Click on the menu icon.
Approving or rejecting a quote as an admin from your trackr iO account will not trigger the notification to be sent to your organization's contact email address.
