Dashboard Finance Overview
The Dashboard section provides live insights into your business performance. It is divided into two main areas: Analytics and Finance.
This article explains the Finance section and the reporting tools available there.
Finance Summary
The Finance section gives you a clear overview of your business’s financial performance. At the top of the page, you can view key financial metrics, including:
Metric | Description |
Revenue | Total revenue generated during the selected reporting period |
Invoices | Total number of invoices created |
Average Invoice Value | The average value of invoices during the selected period |
Each metric also shows how it is trending compared with the previous month, helping you quickly understand whether performance is improving or declining.
You can switch between current month and last month views to compare financial results across different periods.
Sales Reporting
The sales reporting graph displays two key metrics:
Metric | Description |
Revenue | Daily revenue for the selected reporting period |
Average Invoice Value | The average invoice amount for each day |
You can switch between different reporting periods and hover over the graph to view the exact numbers for a specific day.
Detailed Reporting
At the bottom of the Finance section, you can access more detailed reporting. A reporting period switcher allows you to adjust the time frame for the data shown.
Detailed reports are available for:
Report | Description |
Products | View top-selling products and category-based performance |
Staff | Review staff performance across jobs, invoicing, and water tests |
Customers | Identify top customers, their most requested jobs, number of jobs, and total invoiced |
Product Reporting
The Products report shows your top-selling products for the selected reporting period. You can also download the report as a CSV file for more detailed analysis.

Top-selling products
Category-based reporting
Visual summaries of product performance
Staff Reporting
The Staff report helps you understand how your team is performing. It includes reporting on:
Jobs completed
Invoicing performance
Number of water tests completed
This allows you to compare staff activity and productivity during the selected reporting period.
Customer Reporting
The Customers report shows your top-performing customers for the selected reporting period.
For each customer, you can view:
Their most requested job
Number of jobs completed
Total invoiced amount
This helps you identify your most valuable customers and better understand customer activity.
Exporting Data
Some reports, such as product reporting, can be downloaded as a CSV file. This allows you to review the data in more detail or use it for additional reporting outside the dashboard.
Summary
The Finance section of the Dashboard gives you a high-level view of your business’s financial performance, while also providing detailed reporting across sales, products, staff, and customers. By switching between reporting periods and reviewing trends, you can quickly understand how your business is performing and identify areas for improvement.

Summary panel
This section shows the revenue, number of invoices and average invoice value for the month. The bottom left of each section shows a comparison to the previous month. You can use the switch at the top left of the panel to see results from the previous month.
Sales
This section shows revenue and average invoice value over time. You can use the controls in the top left, to change the reporting period. Hovering over a section of the graph will show the actual numbers recorded.
Products
This section reports on sales by product, and product category. You can use the controls in the top left, to change the reporting period. You can also download the report as a CSV for more data.
Staff
This section shows staff performance, by number of jobs, revenue and number of tests. You can use the controls in the top left, to change the reporting period. You can also download the report as a CSV for more data.
